Spaghetti meatballs

I’ve already shown you how to make and fry polpette. In this post I’ll show you how to make my version of spaghetti meatballs.

It’s a realy simple recipe. For the sauce you’ll need the following ingredients (4 portions):

  • 2 bottles of tomato passata
  • one chopped onion
  • 1 (or 2) clove(s) of garlic
  • dried chili
  • olive oil
  • 8 polpette (depending on size, and they need to be raw, not fried)

You start by frying your garlic, onions and chili in a big pot. After that you poor in the 2 bottles of tomato passata and fill the 2 bottle with water and add that to your sauce.

Now it’s time to add your meatballs and bring it all to cook. Once it start cooking you leave it on a low fire for about 2-3 hours and season with salt and pepper.

Cook your spaghetti and serve with your sauce and meatballs!
